Nursery Manager - Stratford (E15)

Are you passionate about providing high-quality care and education for young children? We are currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our nursery at Stratford (E15).

As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the nursery's daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. You will lead a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and support, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Duties will include:

✅Provide strong leadership to the nursery team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

✅Develop and implement a stimulating and age-appropriate curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children and staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the nursery.

✅Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular communication and updates on their child's progress and wellbeing.

✅Manage the nursery budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support the delivery of high-quality care and education.

✅Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Ofsted requirements and safeguarding policies.

✅Continuously evaluate and improve nursery practices, policies, and procedures to enhance the quality of care and meet the evolving needs of children and families.

Requirements:

✅Level 3 or above CCLD Qualification (or equivalent).

✅Experience working with babies and children from 3 months - 5 years old.

✅2 years of Nursery Management experience (ideally experience in dealing with Ofsted inspections).

✅A great work ethic and the ability to manage a team.

✅Ability to delegate and manage your time effectively.

✅Of course, you'll also need an Enhanced DBS check!

As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the delivery of high-quality care and education for young children. You will play a key role in supporting the management team, leading by example, and providing guidance and support to nursery staff.

Duties will include:

✅ Assist the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations, including staff management, curriculum development, and regulatory compliance.

✅Provide support and guidance to nursery staff, including supervision, training, and performance management.

✅Assist in the development and implementation of a stimulating and engaging curriculum in line with the EYFS framework.

Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual with a Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education? We are currently seeking  dedicated Level 2 Qualified Practitioners to join our team across all of our locations and provide high-quality care and education for children in our nurseries.

As a Level 2 Qualified Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of a stimulating and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will assist in providing care, implementing activities, and supporting the development of children in your care.

Duties will include:

✅ Assist in providing high-quality care and education for children in the nursery, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development.

✅ Support the Room Leader and other nursery practitioners in the effective management and operation of the room, contributing to planning and implementing activities in line with the EYFS framework.

✅ Work under the guidance of senior staff members, following their instructions and providing support as required in the day-to-day care of children.

✅ Engage with children in a positive and nurturing manner, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and social skills through play and structured activities.

✅ Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for children, following health and safety procedures and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

✅ Collaborate effectively with other members of the nursery team, sharing ideas, providing support, and contributing to the overall success of the nursery.

✅ Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early years education and childcare.

Requirements:
